Weighing 38 lb, the "Type-S Reef" is designed to withstand strong marine currents. Its low profile significantly reduces turbulence around the reef, limiting the risk of sedimentation. The base of the Type-S reef also provides broad support to reduce the risk of burial on soft substrate.
